Further to the announcement of 3 March 2017, Epiris is pleased to announce that Electra Private Equity PLC (“Electra”) has received proceeds of £67 million from AXIO Group (“AXIO”) in relation to the sale of RISI.
Following receipt of regulatory approvals, the sale of RISI to Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC for $125 million completed on 6 April 2017. The sale is the sixth major realisation from AXIO’s portfolio and takes total cash proceeds received by Electra from its investment in AXIO to almost £420 million, or 4.6x original cost, and the total return, including Electra’s investment in the remainder of the AXIO Group, including TechInsights, to more than 5x original cost.
