ABOUT THE INVESTMENT
Audiotonix is the global market leader in the design and manufacture of audio mixing consoles for live events and broadcast sound. Its products are used by sound engineers to manage live sound at concerts, TV broadcasts, theatre shows and major live events across the world.
We created Audiotonix in 2013 and 2014 by bringing together three businesses, each of which had a leading position and brand in a specialist area of live sound. This created the global market leader with a comprehensive product range and the scale to drive product development and innovation. We built on this with a programme of operational improvement and a strategic focus on growth. This transformative programme led to earnings more than quadrupling under our ownership.
We sold the business in 2017 to a European private equity fund.
