Elian is a leading provider of trust, fund and company administration services to corporates, private clients and investment funds.
We bought Elian in 2014 in a complex carve-out from a law firm. Our strategy was to accelerate growth whilst improving operational performance. Working with management we developed new sales channels to drive growth and completed two add-on acquisitions which further added to scale and strategic presence. At the same time we focused on productivity and efficiency to improve operating margins. Earnings grew by 60% during the two years of our ownership.
We sold the business in 2016 to a strategic buyer.
