Nucleus is one of the leading financial planning and retirement focused WealthTech platforms in the UK. Its platform enables customers to manage not only their Self-Invested Personal Pension Plans (“SIPPs”) but also ISAs and general investment accounts.
Nucleus was formerly known as James Hay and is one of two businesses that comprised IFG Group, which we took private in 2019. We separated IFG into its component parts and led the add-on acquisition of Nucleus Financial Group before adopting that name for the James Hay business. Having transformed Nucleus into one of the UK’s leading scalable independent advisor platforms, we sold a majority interest (retaining a minority interest) in the business in 2022.
