ABOUT THE INVESTMENT

Parkdean Resorts is one of the largest operators of holiday parks in the UK. It offers a wide range of accommodation, from caravans and camping pitches to chalets, apartments and lodges, at 73 sites nationwide.

We created Parkdean in a series of transactions. We started by buying senior debt which we then converted into equity control. We executed four add-on acquisitions and a merger. At the same time we designed and implemented an organic growth strategy based on operational improvement and investment-led growth. This transformative approach quadrupled profits.

We sold Parkdean in 2017 to a North American private equity fund.
