Electra Partners today announces the appointment of Ian Wood as Investment Manager with effect from 15 October 2012.
Ian brings with him 11 years of private equity experience, most recently at GCP Capital where he was involved in the acquisitions of WTG and Garrets International and prior to that at Silverfleet Capital, where he was involved in the acquisitions of Azzuri Communications and Jost
Ian will work alongside Chief Investment Partner, Alex Fortescue and our existing 14 strong investment team, in investing Electra Partners' £450 million* of investment capacity.
Electra Partners has completed three major investments so far this year: the acquisition of term debt facilities in caravan parks operator, Park Resorts, in February; the buyout of UK property management services business, Peverel Group, in March; and most recently the purchase of a £30 million debt portfolio in September.
Electra Partners has gross assets under management of more than £1.3 billion* and typically look to invest £40-£100 million of equity in UK based businesses with an enterprise value of up to £300 million.
