ABOUT THE INVESTMENT

CALA is a national housebuilder, focusing on well-designed homes in prime locations, from starter homes to luxury detached family properties.

We invested in CALA in 2013 alongside Patron Capital and Legal & General. Together we implemented an investment-led growth strategy, developing the company’s land bank and acquiring Banner Homes. Both of these substantially increased the diversity of the business, which more than trebled in size during the course of our investment.

We sold our investment in CALA in 2017.
