Owen is our Managing Partner, responsible for the overall strategic leadership of the firm and for leading our investment strategy and execution. He chairs our Management and Investment Committees.
He is also an active investor and leads our origination in the financial services sector. He led our investments in WBS, Pure, Nucleus (formerly known as James Hay), and Saunderson House.
With two decades’ experience in private equity, he worked at Candover and Palamon Capital Partners before joining Epiris in 2013, having started his career at Bain & Company advising private equity clients. He holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Outside work, Owen spends his summers surfing in Cornwall with his three sons.
