ABOUT THE INVESTMENT

Retirement Bridge is an originator, consolidator and servicer of home reversion equity release plans. The business has around 20 staff and its portfolio comprises over 3,500 properties across the UK.

We invested in Retirement Bridge in 2016 with a plan to optimise the return from the existing portfolio and to increase scale through organic and acquisition-led growth. In pursuit of these goals we strengthened the finance function, and developed a new origination strategy as well as an add-on acquisition pipeline.

We sold our investment in Retirement Bridge in 2017 as our client was no longer able to support the company’s further ambitions.
